Affordable, electricity-free, Natural preservation for Egg Producers, distributors, Exporters, retailers & Brands for Hot & Humid conditions.
Extend Egg Shelf Life Without Cold Storage or Mineral Oil

60 days at 42°C (108°F) + 75% Relative Humidity
Need to cure Rotten Eggs, Power
Cuts & High Storage Costs?
Eggs spoiling in heat
Cold rooms are expensive & unreliable
Mineral oil doesn't work in high temperatures
A Better alternative to mineral oil for eggs

A Better Way to Store Eggs, EGGcellent EGGstender
EGGcellent EGGstender creates a natural protective coating on eggs that slows moisture loss and contamination, helping eggs stay fresh longer without refrigeration.
Lower cost and greener than mineral oil (works in all egg grading machines)
No electricity required to store eggs
Lower cost than cold rooms

Start Preserving Eggs the Smarter Way
Parameter | EGGcellent EGGstender | Food Grade Mineral Oil | Cold-Room Storage |
|---|---|---|---|
Composition | Natural (vegan, biodegradable) | Synthetic (petroleum-derived) | None (temperature-controlled environment) |
Shelf Life Extension | Up to 60 days at 42°C (108°F)+75% RH (undergoing tests for 90–120 days in 42°C (108°F) + 75% RH) | 3 weeks at 24°C; 9 weeks refrigerated | Up to 90 days at 3–6°C |
Working Temperature | Works at high temperatures | Reduced efficacy at temperatures above 24°C due to ~30% viscosity drop | Requires low temperatures (around 3°C) to store eggs; reduced efficacy in warm climates |
Cost per Egg | INR 1.8 paise (0.018) (Rs 64.5/L) - Most economical at half the price of mineral oil | INR 7.5-18 paise (0.075–0.18) (Rs 150/L) | Approximately INR 12-21 paise/month Rs (0.12–0.21) per egg per month (energy + operations, varies by scale and electricity rates) |
CapEx Investment | Low CapEx (manual spraying equipment) | High CapEx (automated spraying equipment) | Low CapEx (manual spraying equipment) | High CapEx (automated spraying equipment) | High CapEx investment (refrigeration infrastructure) |
Application | Spray; scalable with equipment | Spray; scalable with equipment | Placement in refrigerated facility; scalable with infrastructure |
Environmental Impact | Eco-friendly, reduces waste, biodegradable | Non-biodegradable | Energy-intensive; higher carbon footprint due to electricity use (high OpEx) |
Safety | Food-safe, no taste/smell impact; anti-microbial | Food-grade safe | Food-safe if temperatures maintained; prevents bacterial growth |
Best For | Hot/humid climates, large-scale producers and retail | Temperatures below 24°C or refrigerated storage | Areas with reliable power supply |

What is Egg Shelf Life?
Egg shelf life is the length of time an egg remains fresh, safe, and suitable for consumption under proper storage conditions. Egg shelf life is inversely related to TPC (Total Plate Count)/APC (Aerobic Plate Count): the lower the TPC, the longer and safer the egg remains fresh; the higher the TPC, the faster it spoils. Think of TPC as the “bacterial load meter.” Globally, food safety standards/authorities & import/export customs rely on TPC. Eggs that are black and rotten have a TPC greater that 100,000 cfu/g.

Department/Authority | TPC Limit |
|---|---|
USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) | <100,000 CFU/g |
FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) | m=10,000 CFU/g, M=100,000 CFU/g (sampling plan: n=5, c=2) |
Dubai Municipality / UAE Food Department | m=5x10,000 CFU/g or ml, M=1,000,000 CFU/g or ml (sampling plan: n=5, c=2) |
Ministry of Health Malaysia | 5x10,000 CFU/g |
National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM Indonesia) | m=1000 CFU/g, M=10,000 CFU/g (sampling plan: n=5, c=2) |
Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) Japan | <1,000,000 CFU/g |
Our Product Commitment
In third-party lab tests, eggs treated with this natural vegan supplement showed remarkably low bacterial growth, with an aerobic plate count (APC) of just 300 CFU/g after 30 days and 52,000 CFU/g after 60 days of storage at 42°C and 75% relative humidity. Undetectable by taste, smell, sight, or touch. No more black rotten eggs!
